In this pivotal role, you’ll provide fast, reliable technical support to our regional sales and service teams - ensuring that Bromma’s solutions meet customer needs while aligning with our standards for quality, profitability, and innovation. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping customer satisfaction and driving our competitiveness in the market.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Technical & Commercial Support: Provide comprehensive technical and commercial support to regional sales & service teams, covering Bromma crane spreaders, mobile equipment spreaders, refurbishments, and spare parts.
  • Product Solutions & Analysis: Propose effective product solutions based on customer needs, cost, lead time, project priority, and Bromma’s strategic direction.
  • Tender Review & Specifications: Review tender and customer specifications, summarizing critical points and identifying deviations from Bromma standards.
  • Order Specification & Production Alignment: Ensure accurate order specifications are provided to the production teams, and the drawings and final products are meeting the technical requirements.
  • Cost & Lead Time Advisory: Investigate and advise on cost, pricing, and lead times for new designs, ensuring alignment with customer and Bromma targets.
  • Customer Communication: Engage directly with external customers as needed, building strong relationships with clients and OEM partners to drive customer satisfaction.

What you bring to the role:

 

Strong Technical Foundation: You hold a BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering, providing a solid base for understanding complex technical systems and solutions.

Industry Expertise & Spreader Knowledge: With a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant industrial field - ideally involving container handling equipment or spreaders - you bring deep knowledge of mechanical structures, hydraulics, electrics, and control systems.

Advanced Technical Competence: Skilled in technical analysis, troubleshooting, and design advisory, you are confident working with industrial equipment and translating customer requirements into practical, profitable solutions.

Proficiency with Design & Engineering Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as EPLAN, E3 PRO, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault - plus exposure to software platform programming like CoDeSys or similar - enables you to contribute effectively in design-driven discussions.

Effective Communicator & Trusted Collaborator: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are a plus), and you thrive in cross-functional teams - building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and global customers.

Self-Motivated & Customer-Focused Professional: You are proactive, creative, and resourceful, with the ability to manage deadlines and drive customer satisfaction while maintaining alignment with strategic business goals.
