Sales Manager, Caribbean and Central America

 

For over 50 years Bromma has delivered spreaders to more than 500 terminals in over 90 countries at 6 continents. All in all, more than 20,000 crane spreaders and rotators have been put into service. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop sales of Bromma equipment across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, based in Panama. This individual will oversee the entire sales cycle within the assigned territory, from lead generation to deal closure, with a focus on business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities but requires close collaboration with internal teams, including Service and Spare Parts, to support lead generation and after-sales business development.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute regional sales strategies and tactical plans; manage all direct sales within the territory; represent Bromma Americas at customer meetings, industry conferences and trade shows
  • Customer Support & Team Collaboration: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers; collaborate closely with the Spare Parts and Service teams to identlfy and convert leads into sales opportunities; support cross-functional initiatives to drive growth in aftermarket parts, service contracts and upgrades; ensure high customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal departments to address customer requirements, technical support and service delivery
  • Operational Planning & Reporting: Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive threats; provide accurate forecasts, sales reports and pipeline updates using CRM systems; participate in budget planning and ensure cost-effective management of sales activities
  • Compliance & Continuous Improvement : Maintain compliance with company policies, Code of Conduct and applicable regulations

What you bring to the role:

 

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field; fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written);
  • Technical Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical or capital equipment sales within the industrial or port equipment industry preferred. Experience with solution-based and value-driven B2B sales. Familiarity with regional markets in Central America and the Caribbean is highly desirable. Knowledge of port & terminal equipment, container handling and crane systems preferred; proven ability to manage a sales territory independently
