To serve as the primary technical liaison between the Sales/Customer and Operations teams, ensuring the accurate translation of customer needs into production-ready engineering documentation (drawings and BOMs) and actively supporting the Operations team to meet project delivery and quality standards.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Design & Documentation: Develop technical designs and specifications based on customer requirements, preparing design approval drawings, proposals, and releasing final engineering BOMs and drawings for manufacturing.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the technical expert to review specifications from Sales and participate in technical discussions with Project Leaders, Product Support, and Sales.
- Project Delivery & Alignment: Manage multiple concurrent assignments to meet deadlines and coordinate with Operations to ensure manufacturing activities align with project delivery targets.
- Quality & Performance: Evaluate product performance and customer satisfaction together with relevant departments to contribute to continual improvement.
- Team Development: Work under guidance from a senior team member to develop design thinking, project skills, and quality policy knowledge.

What you bring to the role:

Education: A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of applicable working experience in mechanical design work (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant design tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault, along with an understanding of industrial standards related to machinery, hydraulics, and structural design.

Core Competencies: Ability to write professional technical reports, perform good technical analysis, and demonstrate a problem-solving attitude.

Work Style: Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks and maintain self-initiative.
