Field Service Technician

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Planned maintenance
  • Conducting repairs on breakdown
  • Fault finding
  • Contributing to effective OH&S practices

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications
  • An industrial/commercial heavy equipment background
  • Pro-active individual with a can do attitude
  • Provide an Exceptional level of Customer Service at all times
  • Ability to travel as required for business purposes within NZ Australia Asia and Globally
  • A willingness to work rotating shifts if required
  • Email and ICT
  • ECU /PLC experience / exposure advantageous

Required:

  • Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification: e.g. diesel mechanic, mobile plant fitter, commercial marine mechanic, auto electrician, electrical fitter, industrial electrician
  • Minimum year 10 high school, literacy in English language written and oral.
  • Ability to participate in Kalmar training on and off the job with above average ability to learn and apply new skills.

Preferred:

  • Disconnect Reconnect restricted electrical license.
  • Forklift operator’s license.
  • Elevated work platform license
