Service dispatcher
Purpose of the position
Planning and accounting for the work of service technicians
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Daily planning of service activities, maintaining contact with service technicians, and ensuring the availability of resources necessary for order execution.
- Acquiring knowledge and skills related to the tasks performed and sharing them with others.
- Managing reports, including preparing orders for invoicing and submitting required parts for ordering or offering based on the reports.
- Reporting service time.
- Work in Progress (WIP) management – monitoring and ensuring the closure of service reports.
- Ensuring safe and hygienic working conditions for service technicians, implementing preventive health and safety measures in collaboration with external organizations, the Service Manager, and the Delivery and Service Specialist.
- Collaborating closely with the Service Manager.
- Adhering to Kalmar's rules, regulations, and values.
- Complying with supervisor instructions related to work, provided they are consistent with the law and the employment contract.
- Engaging in continuous improvement to enhance the quality of service work.
- Maintaining a high standard of work and demonstrating a professional approach to tasks.
- Performing duties conscientiously and carefully.
- Ensuring good organization and cleanliness in the workplace.
- Continuously improving personal qualifications and working methods.
- Taking care of entrusted company property.
- Actively participating in inventories and stock-taking activities.
What you’ll need to succeed
Essential:
- Education: Higher education.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years.
- Qualifications:
- Category B driving license.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in computer use, Google tools, SAP, Salesforce, and industry-specific applications.
- Communicative knowledge of English.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Personal Attributes:
- Reliability, attention to detail, focus on quality, and teamwork.
- Special Skills/Competencies (based on position needs):
- Familiarity with construction, technological, and operational documentation.
Desirable:
- Education: Higher education.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years.
- Qualifications:
- Category B driving license.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in computer use, Google tools, SAP, Salesforce, and industry-specific applications.
- Communicative knowledge of English.
- Ability to manage a team of mobile service technicians.
- Personal Attributes:
- Willingness for further professional development and self-education.
