As our Country HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in partnering with business leaders, managing day-to-day HR operations, and shaping the local employee experience - all while ensuring compliance, alignment, and excellence across our HR processes.

What are your key responsibilities:

Local HR Business Partnership: Act as the trusted HR point of contact for business units and legal entities in Germany, supporting leaders in all people-related matters.

HR Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day HR activities including payroll coordination,employee relations, performance management, and vendor supervision to ensure smooth, compliant operations.

Manager Coaching & Support: Guide and coach line managers through key HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and resolving people-related issues.

Local & Global HR Initiatives: Lead and contribute to country-level HR projects, while supporting the successful rollout of global HR strategies and frameworks.

Compliance & Employee Representation: Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, and maintain constructive relationships with works councils, unions, and health & safety stakeholders.

Process Harmonization: Drive alignment and consistency of HR processes and practices across the country to support efficiency and standardization.

HR Planning & Budgeting: Provide valuable input into local HR budgeting and support workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with leadership and finance.

What you bring to the role:
Educational Background: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for both strategic and operational HR work.
Proven HR Leadership: Over 5 years of experience in HR management, ideally within a complex or international organization, with hands-on involvement across all core HR areas.
Expertise in Compliance & People Operations: Strong knowledge of local employment laws and HR best practices, including payroll, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with line managers, employees, union representatives, and external vendors.
Strong Communication & Coaching Skills: Fluent in English and the local language, with the ability to coach, influence, and support others through clear and empathetic communication.
Flexible and Hands-On Approach: A practical mindset with the flexibility to support both day-to-day HR needs and long-term strategic initiatives.
