We are seeking a visionary  Head of Strategy Execution, Services to join our leadership team.

 

As the Head of Strategy Execution at Kalmar Services division, you will play a critical role in shaping the destiny of our company and ensuring its success. Your overall mission is to ensure that Kalmar will remain a forerunner in sustainable material handling equipment and services and deliver on its financial targets in 2028. You will also play a vital role in developing the industry best service footprint as well as enable us to become a service driven company.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for executing our service strategies and developing our footprint further. A high focus will be on improving our service agreements, capture rate and developing new business opportunities. You will be responsible  for overseeing market research and identifying areas for further growth of services business. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams within Kalmar including capital equipment divisions, front line units as well as factories to successfully drive the execution of our strategic initiatives and achieve our long-term goals.You will also engage frequently with our customers. You will be part of the Service division’s leadership team and report directly to the President of the Service division.

 

The primary location for this role is Finland, but it can also be based elsewhere in Europe.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the Services division and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Responsible for the execution of Services strategy 2028, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary
  • Engage with key stakeholders (incl. distributors) and customers regularly to understand the market needs
  • Develop and execute plans to improve our capture rate in parts sales and efficiencies in the service agreements
  • High focus on developing our service offering within electrification, automation and digitalization (connectivity)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address barriers to successful strategy execution.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Min. 10 years of experience from international business
  • Extensive leadership experience in senior management roles
  • Proven track record of successfully executing strategic initiatives leading to sustainable, profitable growth
  • Customer centric mindset
  • Strong in proactive, strategic execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
