Are you passionate about driving process excellence through data and continual improvement? Join Kalmar as a Senior Analyst in Process Performance and Improvement and play a key role in strengthening Process Leadership by developing and managing impactful process performance metrics.

 

As a Senior Analyst in Process Performance and Improvement you will support the identification, deployment, and management of process metrics that connect to Kalmar’s end-to-end process KPI library. You will design dashboards, facilitate improvement initiatives, coach stakeholders, and provide insightful analysis to drive tactical and strategic decision-making across the organization.

 

The role can be based either in Helsinki/Tampere, Finland or Ljungby, Sweden.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Process Metrics & KPI Alignment: Work with process owners to identify key performance metrics that align with Kalmar’s KPI framework and support effective daily management.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain clear dashboards and reports to monitor and communicate process performance across the business.
  • Empowering Through Training: Train and coach stakeholders on using process data for better decision-making, continual improvement, and daily management practices.
  • Performance Analysis & Insights: Deliver timely insights and actionable recommendations based on accurate analysis of process data and performance trends.
  • Continual  Improvement Leadership: Act as a CI Expert by leading selected improvement initiatives and supporting teams with coaching and data-driven problem-solving.
  • Driving Process Efficiency: Identify and recommend internal data-related improvements to enhance process efficiency and operational effectiveness.

What you bring to the role:

 

  • Educational Background in Business & Technology: You hold a degree in economics, finance, business/industrial management, engineering, IT, or a related field - equipping you with a well-rounded perspective on operational and strategic performance.
  • Industry-Relevant Experience: With at least 5 years of experience - ideally in heavy machinery, manufacturing, or service industries - you have a solid track record in process development, performance measurement, and root cause analysis.
  • Lean Six Sigma Expertise: You bring strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, with Green or Black Belt certification preferred, and are confident applying continual improvement tools in real-world settings.
  • Performance-Driven Mindset: You understand how to align business goals with measurable performance outcomes, and are skilled at cascading KPIs from leadership level down to day-to-day operations.
  • Data & Systems Proficiency: Comfortable working with ERP, CRM, and modern data visualization platforms like Qlik Sense and Google Looker Studio, you are capable of analyzing complex datasets to generate meaningful insights.
  • Strong Communicator & Coach: With excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills, you’re able to engage diverse stakeholders, foster collaboration, and support a customer-oriented, international work environment.
