Senior Manager IM, Equipment Delivery Solutions

We are seeking a Senior Manager for IM - Equipment Delivery Solutions to lead the development and management of technology solutions in the equipment delivery process area. This position will be key in driving the technology strategy, overseeing system integration, and ensuring the smooth operation of business-critical solutions.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

Technology Leadership:

  • Contribute to the management and development of existing IT technologies in the equipment delivery solutions area
  • Manage technology and service vendors, collaborating closely with service management and process area IM leads
  • Own the technical architecture for factory solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.


Development:

  • Develop strategies and roadmaps for your areas of responsibility, ensuring alignment with Kalmar’s business requirements
  • Own the integration design and ensure solutions support seamless operations in the equipment delivery process
  • Manage business and technical requirements for equipment delivery, leading the development of solutions and coordinating external vendors
  • Lead project management for assigned development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.


Support & Coordination:

  • Lead and coordinate super users and key user networks within the solution area
  • Collaborate with IM Services to ensure the smooth operation of applications, integrations, and the delivery of high-quality IT support services.

What we offer

 

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in IT, with a focus on equipment delivery, factory solutions, and project delivery.


Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of IT capabilities within equipment delivery solutions, factory solutions, operations planning, and supplier collaboration.
  • Proven experience in system architecture design
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on relationship building
  • Process improvement skills, with knowledge of lean or similar methodologies a plus
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver complex initiatives
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
