We are looking for a Trainee, Strategic Projects to join the Kalmar Strategy, Sustainability & Technology function. 

 

The position is located either in Helsinki or Tampere. The trainee period lasts from Mid-April to the end of August, with the option to extend the contract.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Support in establishing Kalmar framework for strategic projects and portfolio
  • Prepare management and board presentations
  • Support ongoing work and strategic projects as part of the team
  • Other tasks that are assigned to the function.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

We are looking for an analytical person with a keen interest in strategy and project management, who eagerly takes on new responsibilities and curiously seeks for improvements in the ways of working.

 

Ideally you have:

 

  • Ongoing studies in business administration, finance, or engineering, with Bachelor’s degree preferably completed
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous work experience in strategy, project management and/or finance
  • Good skills in Google tools (Drive, Sheets, Slides), as well as Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with HFM, QlikView/QlikSense, and Reuters Eikon are considered as beneficial
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English. Finnish is considered as an advantage.
