As a Junior Specialist, Payment Processing, you will be responsible for delivering Invoice to Pay (ITP) payment services in line with customer needs and expectations. In this role, you will perform payment transactional activities with limited supervision, reconcile bank statements, resolve query escalations, and support month-end financial processes.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Payment Proposals & Execution: Create payment proposals according to agreed payment schedules, and review and process exceptional or ad-hoc payments with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Bank Statement Management: Booking, posting, and reconciling bank statements, while monitoring electronic statements and resolving issues regarding missing statements.
  • Query Resolution & Customer Service: Resolve queries from customers, vendors, and internal colleagues related to payments, maintaining a high customer focus and supporting a positive brand image.
  • Month-End & Financial Controls: Deliver payment processing services strictly in compliance with global company policies, internal controls, procedures, and month-end close schedules.
  • Problem Resolution & Collaboration: Identify unusual events or recurring issues to resolve them alongside team leads, while maintaining accurate documentation and strong working relationships across the ITP area.

What you bring to the role:

 

  • Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (obtained or studies in progress). Previous experience in Invoice to Pay (ITP) / Payments or completion of a finance traineeship is an advantage.
  • Communication & Language: Professional fluency in both written and spoken English, accompanied by strong interpersonal and customer service-focused communication skills.
  • Technical & Software Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP/Cloud systems and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office is considered an advantage.
  • Analytical & Query Handling Skills: Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage simple to complex queries efficiently.
  • Proactive Team Player: Strong work ethic, commitment to internal controls and policies, and a proactive attitude toward improving personal and team work practices.
