We are seeking a Global Service Delivery Process Owner to take full accountability for the strategic development and execution of our Service Delivery process. This role is a unique opportunity to lead the design, implementation and continual improvement of the Service Delivery process as part of the Services Strategy Execution team, and instrumental in making our Kalmar strategy come alive.  


In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team and have a high level of influence and collaboration across Services business lines, Product divisions as well as central Kalmar functions. This is a high-impact role with a global mandate.  

 

This position is based in Finland (Helsinki or Tampere) or Sweden, Ljungby, with a flexible hybrid working model.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Long-Term Vision for Service Delivery: Develop and maintain the long-term vision and strategic roadmaps for the Service Delivery process, ensuring alignment with Kalmar's overall strategy and the Services Strategy Execution roadmap
  • Strategic Services Initiatives: Actively contribute to the Services Strategy Execution team strategic initiatives and objectives
  • Global Process Development and Optimization: Lead the global development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Service Delivery process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and harmonization across all Divisions and Functions. Execute process initiatives, identify deviations, and implement opportunities for optimization
  • Process Structure and Governance: Establish and maintain process structure, documentation, and governance together with the Kalmar Process Leadership community
  • Global Ownership of Service Delivery Systems: Hold global decision-making mandate for the Service Delivery process and its supporting IM systems. Act as the business owner for IM & Data development related to the Service Delivery process, providing needs and alignment for the development portfolio
  • Cost-Effective Resource and Competence Management: Ensure business needs are met in a cost-effective manner by managing resources and defining competence requirements. Develop and implement Service Delivery process-specific training curriculums
  • Process Performance: Oversee process performance management: Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively address risks and opportunities to ensure operational excellence. Ensure adherence to standards and regulations
  • Leadership and Innovation: Provide strategic guidance and drive innovation to shape the future direction of Service Delivery and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to drive process improvement.

What you bring to the role:

 

Education:

  • University degree in business, economy, or technical disciplines
  • Extensive knowledge of process development and enterprise-wide optimization, ensuring alignment with industry-leading practices.

 

Experience

  • Proven track record in production, manufacturing, or heavy industry, with hands-on expertise in overseeing large-scale operations, preferably OEM/Heavy industry and machine service background. 
  • Experience in service-based businesses and processes is considered an advantage.

 

Competencies

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking, capable of driving global process transformation in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Exceptional skills in executive communication, change management, and capability building, fostering process leadership across teams
  • Collaborative and coaching mindset, facilitating seamless process improvements across global operations
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
