Head of Digital Services Business

We are looking for a Head of Digital Services Business to join our team!

 

The Head of Digital Services Business is responsible for leading and managing the company's digital services business, including the development and implementation of new digital products and services, as well as the growth and profitability of the business.
The person sets strategic direction, aligned with Kalmar's and Service’s division overall goals, and drives the digital services portfolio development, sales, support and delivery as well as provides support for other Services, region and division teams. 
The Digital Services team is also a support and enabler for our digital solutions required to drive and develop the Service Solutions and Parts &  Logistics businesses.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Build and set the Digital Services team, operating model and resources needed to execute the business strategy including the utilization of competencies  from other Kalmar organizations 
  • Develop and execute the company's digital services strategy and offering roadmap to grow digital services revenue according to Kalmar Services division targets
  • Lead the digital services team in the development and launch of new digital products and services
  • Drive digital services revenue growth and profitability through three areas: pure digital and digitally enabled business as well as digital channels
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the digital services business
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and customers
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred
  • Relevant experience in the (digital) services industry (at least 5+ years)
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing (digital) services teams
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, product development, and business strategy
  • Experience of B2B digital business, P&L ownership meriting
  • Experience in international service  business 
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Wide understanding of digital technologies, digital marketing channels, online behavior, eCommerce, SW maintenance and support.
