Compensation Data
- Base Salary: $80 - $95k per year
- Eligible for Annual Bonus
- Eligible for annual salary review/increase
What You'll Do
This position is part of the Terminal Tractor business division, which is responsible for supporting the profitability and development of terminal tractors within Kalmar. Services provided include problem solving and technical solutions to any potential customer issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to Kalmar front line service teams, dealers and customers
- Work collaboratively with Regional Managers and dealers to manage development within designated regions.
- Collect and provide product quality feedback to business division and operations.
- Participate in investigation of incidents and in further route cause identification when needed
- Participate in new product development projects
- Assist in the research and writing of technical service bulletins.
- Coordinate research and response regarding recalls or other type of field campaigns
What You'll Need to Succeed
Education:
- Associates Degree in Business, Industrial Electricity, Electronics, Engineering Technology or Technical application and/or Field experience with Kalmar Terminal Tractors preferred. High School diploma required
Experience:
- Background in Electric Vehicle (EV) Equipment preferred
- Experience in working with Voltages greater than 400V.
- Experience in reading schematics
- Experience in Terminal Tractor troubleshooting
- Experience in After sales support
