Sourcing Project Manager

The sourcing project manager is part of the division sourcing management team. He/she will lead the sourcing project team in the Division to manage sourcing related projects or coordinate sourcing activities, which includes but not limited to NPD, NPI, PLC, cost reductions, supplier workshops. Collaborate with global sourcing organization to optimize the related process.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in division sourcing management discussions and take lead of strategic improvement activities.
  • Set vision and target for sourcing project team.
  • Planning resources in the Sourcing Project team to support the cross functional collaboration in the division.
  • Lead and coach the Sourcing Project Team to meet the goals set by the Division and global sourcing.
  • Accountable for the Division Sourcing Projects including not limited to NPD, NPI, PLC, cost reductions, supplier workshops.
  • Contribute to Division product roadmap development.
  • Lead strategic strategy planning for NPD in cooperation with category sourcing and direct sourcing, to meet the NPD sourcing target. Set and meet Bill of Material cost targets. Set and meet timing targets. Follow up to assure the NPD’s meet the targets at each gate.
  • Own the sourcing process for NPD

What you bring to the role:

 

Education:

Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or similar interest and experience

 

Experience/Competencies:

5-7 years or above in project management, product management or sourcing in a manufacturing environment.

Abe to lead and influence cross-functional team collaboration

Drive and result oriented

Good analytical skills

Excellence communication

Fluent in English both oral and written.

Proficient with Access, Gantt chart, etc. preferred
