Sourcing Trainee

Purpose of the position

 

The purpose of this position is both to get exposure to Sourcing responsibilities and getting insight into the work of a Division while learning from the Sourcing Team members. The position will require hard work and dedication but will aim for building a solid platform for further career development within the group.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

Support in a variety of business tasks including ERP system maintenance, data entry and followup with suppliers.
Assist in the preparation of Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
Project work for the division. Extract data from databases and compile reports.  
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Production, Engineering, Planning or Finance, to gather requirements and provide sourcing-related information 
Sourcing Team coordinator (plan and organize meetings, minutes of meetings,slide preparation etc)
Participate in internal meetings and training sessions to enhance sourcing knowledge and skills.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education


University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering (recently finished or with 1-3 year’s work experience after graduation)
 
Experience


International experience preferred (e.g., study abroad, international internships, or coursework with a global focus).
Experience outside studies or work would be valued


Competencies

 

Mature and professional personality

Proficient in Google Suite and/or MS Office Suite (Drive, Slides, Sheets, Forms). 

SAP experience helpful but not required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
