Compensation Data
- Base Salary: Starting @ $100,000.00 per year
- Eligible for Annual Bonus
- Eligible for Annual Salary Review/Increase

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic team player to join our organization. The ideal candidate should be located the Los Angeles, CA area, have enhanced technical skills (mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics) and have exceptional customer communication skills.
This position is responsible for providing maintenance & repair service to Kalmar and other brands of container handling equipment at the APM Terminal- Pier 400, Port of Los Angeles with a focus on electrical repair and diagnosis.
Candidate will also be responsible for assisting personnel in the field with documentation, report of labor, work orders and inspections and act as a Kalmar Ambassador at the customer site.

What you bring to the role:
- Qualifications:
○ Education: Engineering Degree or Technical diploma/certificate preferred; or high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial equipment repair and maintenance
○ Must have valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
○ Must have valid TWIC Card or ability to obtain one immediately upon being hired
● Technical Expertise: Proven skills and experience troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, including PLC programming (Siemens preferred) for heavy equipment; commissioning new equipment; installing software upgrades; reading schematics and blueprints
● Customer Focus: Ability to deliver exceptional service through clear communication, detailed reporting, product training and a problem-solving mindset.
