Project Manager- Heavy Equipment Process Automation

Kalmar Automation is looking for an experienced Project Manager professional who will be responsible for managing and executing Process Automation delivery projects in accordance with the Process Automation Methodology, ensuring alignment with defined goals and fulfillment of all contractual obligations.
Compensation Data
- Annual Base Salary: $125k - $130K + (depending on experience)
 - Eligible for Quarterly Bonus
 
What are your key responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee project planning, execution, progress and follow-up; manage change control related to schedule, scope, and commercial status; estimate and allocate resources effectively; assume financial, technical, and scheduling responsibilites for project delivery; conduct risk identification and mitigation; ensure smooth handover of project to the Support team
 - Team Leadership: define and manage the project organization; coordinate with internal departments and local resources; foster a collaborative and positive working atmosphere within the project team
 - Customer Relationship Management: serve as the primary point of contact for the customer in the assigned project area, in alignment with the Project Director
 - On-Site Operations: plan, coordinate, and support on-site operations within project scope; participate in on-site activities when required
 - Reporting: provide internal progress reports to management; deliver weekly/monthly progress updates to the customer; prepare and submit project closing reports
 - Feedback & Continuous Improvement: collect and disseminate feedback to Sales, Project Team, Product Lines, R&D, factories and other stakeholders; organize and facilitate project feedback meetings, when required

What you bring to the role:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field; PMP/PMI Project Management Certification preferred; proficient in standard office software and project scheduling applications
 - Technical Expertise: 5 or more years' of proven experience in Project Management, preferably in large-scale technical or infrastructure projects; demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate consultants, experts, and multi-displinary teams to acheive project outcomes; proficient in standard office software and project scheduling applications; solid understanding of the transportation sector, particularly shipping, intermodal logistics, and container terminal operations; previous experience as a Team Leader
