Junior Project Manager

As our Junior Project Manager, you'll be instrumental in delivering Crane Upgrades projects on schedule and within budget. You'll facilitate every stage from contract to handover, meticulously managing scope, timelines, and costs. Your accountability will cover the preparation and timely delivery of all quality deliverables for project planning, execution, and communication.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Manages complex projects from contract to handover, including SAP software implementations, ensuring delivery within established budget, schedule, and quality goals.

  • Contract & Scope Management: Assumes direct contract responsibility, defining project scope, requirements, and timelines, while ensuring all disciplines adhere to ordered specifications.

  • Primary Customer & Stakeholder Liaison Acts as the prime point of contact for the customer and main project manager, building strong relationships and facilitating clear communication throughout the project.

  • Team Alignment & Execution Ensures project activities are understood, and commitment is gained from the project team to meet overall objectives, driving effective project planning and quality.

  • Financial & Performance Monitoring Responsible for meticulous project budget and actual cost monitoring, internal reporting, and providing regular progress updates based on customer needs.

  • Proactive Issue & Commercial Management Handles exceptions (scope, budget, schedule, technical) effectively with all parties, and identifies opportunities for add-on sales in cooperation with the sales team.

What you bring to the role:

 

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field. Fresh graduate or 1–3 years of experience in a similar business. Fluency in English and Dutch.

  • Technical Expertise: You bring engineering know-how in your field. Your work is grounded in quality, safety, innovation, and real-world application.

  • Safety Commitment: Strong awareness and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
