As a Business Controller, you'll play a critical role in overseeing the strategic financial operations of the organization. This position ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and optimization, while providing crucial insights to support data-driven decision-making. Reporting directly to the Plant Controller, the Business Controller is a key partner in driving financial health and operational efficiency.

What are your key responsibilities:

  • Financial Integration & Project Management: Lead LN system integrations and project closures, ensuring meticulous month-end double-checks and alignment with standard cost updates.
  • Cost Management & Analysis: Drive standard cost updates, review costing vouchers, and conduct in-depth cost/PPV (Purchase Price Variance) analysis. Review TP1 (Transfer Pricing) and component sales pricing to optimize profitability.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast (RP) processes, providing actionable insights to stakeholders to guide strategic decisions.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze diverse financial reports, such as KPIs and Month-End Management Reports, to support data-driven decision-making across the business.
  • Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Review and enhance internal control procedures, ensure compliance with company policies, and actively support cross-functional Kaizen initiatives aimed at process improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Play a vital role in participating in and driving cross-functional Kaizen projects, leveraging tools like Google and AI to enhance business processes.

What you bring to the role:

  • Education: A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics is highly desirable.
  • Experience (MNC): Minimum 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting management roles, specifically as a Finance/Accounting Manager or Business Controller within a Multinational Corporation (MNC).
  • Business Partnering: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Business Partnering roles, demonstrating a proven ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems , strong command of China GAAP, and working knowledge of IFRS (IAS), ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
  • Professional Requirements: Fluent in both oral and written English , in-depth understanding of tax regulations , and excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Demonstrated integrity and the ability to work under pressure , sharp analytical capabilities , and a strong commitment to being a team player with a problem-solving attitude.
