Product Technical Support (PTS) Assistant Engineer

Key player responsible for product support of the equipment to the dealers/customers. This include:-
- Warranty Management
- Product support
- Training for customers/dealers
- Technical report and literature writing
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Involvement in vehicle navigation and project commissioning, testing and troubleshooting.
- On-site hardware and software troubleshooting
- Work closely with customer’s engineering team to provide technical consultation and on- and off-site support.
- Advise customers/dealers for all warranty issues
- Conduct technical investigation and ensure prompt closure
- Review the technical challenges and propose suitable technical solutions
- Liaise with factory product support team to address the product support issues
- Provide technical training to dealers/customers
- Provide technical training to internal technical staff
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Electrical/Diploma in Mechanical/Diploma in Mechatronic
- Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply, training will be provided
Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge in engines, transmissions, hydraulics systems and electrical systems is a plus
- Background in Control Systems and/or Mechatronics is a plus
- Team player
- Possess great problem solving skills
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be independent and possess initiative
