We are seeking an experienced IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager to oversee Kalmar’s IT operations and support. This role will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, end-user support, and regional IM organization collaboration. You will drive quality, efficiency, transparency, and modernization in both local and central IT operations.
As our IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing IT operations, managing end-user support, and driving efficiency and transparency in our IT services.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Leading IT Strategy & Operations: Oversee Kalmar’s IT infrastructure and end-user services, ensuring they are fit for purpose and aligned with business needs
- Driving IT Transformation: Lead modernization efforts in IT infrastructure and services, ensuring seamless business support and continuous improvements
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of regional and local IT professionals to deliver high-quality IT services
- Service Management & Quality Control: Drive excellence in IT service management and configuration management databases (CMDB) to optimize efficiency
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal business functions and external service providers to ensure IT solutions meet business objectives
- Financial Oversight: Control IT budgets and execute financial planning for global IT services
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance IT service delivery.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in global IT service delivery, IT infrastructure, and end-user services
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage IT budgets and financial planning
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a passion for driving efficiency and business value
- Strong networking abilities and experience working in international, virtual environments.
