We are looking for a Junior Accountant, Record to Report to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this role, you will support accounting services for selected processes and countries, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with internal controls, and smooth execution of month-end activities. What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Accounting services: Deliver services in line with agreed controls and procedures, ensuring accurate data in company systems and timely month-end general ledger close.
  • Balance sheet management: Prepare reconciliations and maintain accuracy of financial records.
  • Compliance: Follow internal control procedures and accounting policies (CAS), ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready.
  • Cross-training and support: Provide back-up coverage for Record-to-Report activities and share knowledge within the team.
  • Ad-hoc requests: Handle special assignments and contribute to process improvements as needed.

What you bring to the role:

 

  • Educational foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Early-career experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance operations, preferably in an international environment.
  • Technical skills: Good MS Office knowledge; ERP experience is an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Communication and teamwork: Proficiency in English (written and spoken), combined with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Proactive approach: Initiative to improve practices and willingness to take responsibility.
