We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Cash Collection with German to join our team. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end collections process for your customer portfolio, ensuring timely payments, resolving disputes, and safeguarding strong customer relationships. You’ll work closely with internal teams across Kalmar’s global network and play a key role in improving cash flow performance.

What are your key responsibilities:

Drive collections activities through calls and emails, securing timely payments and maintaining accurate customer communication records.

Manage disputes end-to-end — creation, follow-up, escalation, and ensuring every case has a clear action plan and owner.

Support correct cash application by resolving queries related to unallocated payments and providing portfolio status updates when needed.

Achieve performance targets by reducing overdue balances, meeting activity KPIs, and completing month-end tasks within SLAs.

Ensure process compliance with the Collections Playbook, SOPs, and internal controls while keeping work instructions up to date.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams, monitor shared mailboxes, and contribute to reporting and continuous process improvements.

Support the team by following the backup structure and helping onboard/train new colleagues.

What you bring to the role:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: 1–3 years in Finance/Accounts Receivable in an international environment.

Languages: Full professional proficiency in German and English.

Technical skills: Strong Excel and Google Workspace skills; experience with ERPs/FSCM is an advantage.

Mindset: Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Work style: Independent, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and willingness to learn across OTC.
