We are looking for a motivated Finance Trainee to join our Invoice to Pay team and support Kalmar’s global accounting and finance processes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a multinational environment while developing your professional skills. The position offers flexible working hours — you can choose to work 4, 6, or 8 hours per day, making it ideal for students or recent graduates.
What are your key responsibilities:

Invoice to Pay operations: Support invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor account maintenance to ensure accurate financial records.

Month-end support: Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.

Process and compliance: Follow established accounting controls and procedures while maintaining data accuracy.

Continuous improvement: Contribute to process enhancements and support the implementation of best practices.

Team collaboration: Work closely with finance colleagues to resolve issues and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

What you bring to the role:
Educational foundation: Recently completed or currently in the final years of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
Experience: Up to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or an international business environment (internship experience also valued). We welcome students or recent graduates eager to learn and grow in an international environment.
Technical skills: Familiarity with Google Workspace and ERP systems is an advantage.
Professional mindset: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration and communication: Full professional proficiency in English, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, learning-oriented attitude that supports teamwork and continuous improvement.
