We are looking for a motivated Finance Trainee to join our Record to Report (RTR) team and support Kalmar’s global finance and accounting operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a multinational environment while developing your professional and analytical skills. The position offers flexible working hours — you can choose to work 4, 6, or 8 hours per day, making it ideal for students or recent graduates.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Month-end close support: Assist in general ledger closing activities, account reconciliations, and preparation of balance sheet reports.
- Transactional and data accuracy: Apply payments, process adjustments, and verify financial data to ensure correctness across multiple systems.
- Billing and compliance: Ensure all client billings are issued on time and in line with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Process improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of new programs and procedures within the finance function.
- Collaboration and communication: Work closely with the Team Lead, Solution Owners, and Process Owners to align activities and support day-to-day operations.

What you bring to the role:
- Educational foundation: Recently completed or currently in the final years of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Experience: Up to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or an international business environment (internship experience also valued). We welcome students or recent graduates eager to learn and grow in an international environment.
- Technical skills: Familiarity with Google Workspace and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Professional mindset: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration and communication: Full professional proficiency in English, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, learning-oriented attitude that supports teamwork and continuous improvement.
