Process Development Manager, Source-to-Pay
Purpose of the position
NOTE: we will consider candidates located in Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria. remote work supported.
Responsible for executing the Source-to-Pay business process under the mandate of the Kalmar Process Owner for Source-to-Pay. Supports the coordination of global development of the Source-to-Pay process.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Drives global Source-to-Pay process development and continual improvement under the mandate of the Source-to-Pay Kalmar Process Owner.
- Identifies development needs and synergy opportunities within Source-to-Pay processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Supports global coordination of Source-to-Pay process development.
- Prepares materials for the Source-to-Pay Kalmar Process Owner to support process governance decisions.
- Designs and maintains effective and efficient process architecture and the Process Area development portfolio.
- Ensures implementation of processes, key projects, and process competencies within the Process Area.
- Identifies opportunities for harmonization across Divisions and Functions.
- Supports process-related projects as a steering group member or project manager.
- Defines process metrics and performance targets, tracking progress with stakeholders.
- Manages compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
- Oversees risk management and incident resolution, ensuring adherence to process standards.
- Documents process information, workflows, work procedures, and instructions.
- Identifies training needs and facilitates training sessions.
- Defines business needs for IM solutions and aligns process requirements with IM & Data development.
Business Impact & Decision-Making:
- Leads execution of global Source-to-Pay initiatives, improving process efficiency, compliance, and harmonization.
- Aligns development projects with business strategies and needs.
- Influences stakeholders to implement process improvements and meet corporate standards.
Innovation & Development:
- Enhances Source-to-Pay processes and ways of working.
- Identifies and implements opportunities for harmonization, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Adapts processes to meet evolving business needs and drive innovation globally.
Networking & Influencing:
- Aligns Source-to-Pay process development with business needs through collaboration with stakeholders.
- Influences decision-making to support harmonization and strategic priorities.
- Builds and maintains relationships to drive process improvements and compliance.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Strong leadership skills to engage, influence, and align stakeholders across various functions and levels.
- Ability to steer and coach process development initiatives within a matrix organization, ensuring a fit-for-purpose development scope.
- Expertise in training, communication, and change management to drive process adoption and continuous improvement.
- Deep knowledge of industry best practices to define and guide the long-term vision for process development.
- Continual improvement mindset to implement best practices, optimize processes, and enhance IM systems.
- Ensures process development aligns with business needs, driving compliance, efficiency, and harmonization across Divisions and Functions globally.
- Oversees process implementation and performance tracking, identifying risks and opportunities while ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
- Ability to travel - 10% of worktime
