Product Engineer

Are you passionate about mechanical design and product development? At Kalmar, we’re looking for a Product Engineer to join our R&D team and take part in creating cutting-edge mobile equipment solutions.

Your Role

• Collaborate with departments like production, purchasing, and quality to ensure seamless development and technical excellence.
• Support product life cycle activities, including designing, testing, and improving components and documentation.
• Act as a key contact for technical queries, ensuring effective communication between our manufacturing unit and R&D.
• Build and maintain a robust knowledge base to enhance product innovation and development.

What You Bring

Must-haves:

• A degree in technical studies (mechanical/electrical or similar).
• Proficiency in CAD software and the ability to read technical drawings.
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong English communication skills (at least intermediate level).
• Team spirit, creativity, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves:

• Advanced English proficiency (CAE or equivalent).
• Expertise in welding, 3D design tools (preferably CATIA), and automation systems.
• 3+ years of experience in product engineering or machine design.
