Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer who will have technical responsibility for electrical engineering in manual or automated container handling equipment delivery projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Electrical design and development tasks for Horizontal Transportation equipments like Straddle Carriers
  • Executing the design work that it meets the defined project scope and schedule
  • Circuit diagram design (E3)
  • Creating and maintain project design in PDM system (Sovelia)
  • Assembly drawings and instructions
  • Component sizing 
  • Technical specifications
  • Production and commissioning support 
  • Technical documentation.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education: 

  • Technical education (B.Sc or M.Sc) from electrical or automation engineering.


Experience:

  • Experience from electric CAD system (e.g. E3/EPLAN) 
  • Electrical design for machines or mobile equipment
  • Some field experience is considered as a benefit.

 

Competencies:

  • Electrical systems (worldwide) and standards (e.g. EN 60204-32) knowledge
  • Basic knowledge from PLC systems, fieldbuses, motion control, drives
  • Problem-solving skills.
