We are looking for a HR Specialist to deliver customer-centric, compliant HR services that support Kalmar's businesses, line managers, and teams in Finland.
In this role, you will provide expert, country-specific advice to ensure smooth and efficient employment life-cycle processes. Your key responsibilities will include HR administration, operational tasks, and assisting with the entire training and development cycle - from identifying needs to evaluating programs. You will also support various HR projects and development initiatives, including assisting with employer branding activities.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Providing country-specific advice to line managers, ensuring smooth and efficient employment life-cycle processes
- Handling all HR administration and operational tasks, including document management, reporting, and invoice processing
- Supporting HR colleagues and the business with diverse activities, offering advice and services in areas such as talent, recruitment, rewards, and employer branding
- Managing the full training and development cycle, from identifying training needs to designing, delivering, and evaluating programs
- Contributing to various projects and development initiatives within the Country HR scope.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Suitable educational background, e.g. B.Sc. degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience
- Previous HR experience, ideally in a generalist role covering different HR process areas
- Passion for Training & Development and Employer Branding topics.
- Understanding of basic HR processes, incl. laws and regulations of professional apprenticeship
- Ability to use basic tools effectively (HRIS, Google tools)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Finnish
- Customer-focused mindset
- Structured way of working, ability to lead oneself and prioritize tasks
- Good attention to detail.
