This role is based in Tampere, Finland, or Ljungby, Sweden, with a flexible hybrid work model.

What are your key responsibilities:

 

In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll bring together people, processes, and predictive insights to create a smarter, more data-driven approach to lifecycle management. You will:

 

  • Lead Lifecycle Intelligence Strategy: Develop and implement a unified strategy for parts lifecycle intelligence, aligned with Kalmar’s business goals and product lifecycle management vision.

  • Drive Reliability Analytics: Establish, track and maintain MTBF metrics.  Analyse data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvements.

  • Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM): Lead initiatives to establish and enhance RCM processes.

  • Partner Across Functions: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Lines, Customer Support, and Supply Chain to ensure lifecycle insights directly inform design, maintenance, and commercial strategies.

  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations through dashboards, reports, and storytelling - driving decisions that reduce cost and boost performance.

  • Continuously Improve: Introduce best practices, new technologies, and smarter ways of working to make lifecycle management more intelligent, proactive, and predictive.

What you bring to the role:

 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in parts lifecycle management, reliability engineering, or a related discipline within the industrial OEM sector.

  • Analytical & Technical Expertise: Proven experience with data analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML tools (Python, R, TensorFlow).

  • Reliability Focus: Deep understanding of reliability engineering principles and RCM practices; certifications (e.g., CRE, CMRP) are a plus.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to align diverse teams around shared goals.

  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems; ability to navigate multinational, matrix organizations.

  • Language Skills: Fluent English, both spoken and written.
