We are looking for a Trainee to join our Service Operations Development team. Our team provides digital tools and performance dashboards to service teams globally which enable a profitable service business.

 

In this role, you will help us make every move count by developing digital and reporting tools that directly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Maintenance delivery in our Front Line Units (FLU). You will work on the further development and deployment of digital tools, and perform data analysis. Your impact will be visible on our financial performance and as an improved operational efficiency.

 

This position is based in Tampere. It is a fixed-term position for the fall period and start and end dates will be agreed between the manager and the employee (approximately Oct 1st - end of Dec). 

What are your key responsibilities:

 

  • Analyzing Business Performance: Support business performance analysis for our On-Demand and Contract maintenance operations using data and AI to find improvements.
  • Driving Digital Adoption: Hands-on development of a technician-facing troubleshooting tool, ranging from setting up an equipment configuration database to optimizing the user interface.
  • Global Collaboration:  Interact with our EU-based offices and global units to ensure our tools meet the needs of the business.

What you bring to the role:

 

  • Relevant Educational Background: Polytechnic, Information Management, Business Administration, or comparable education.
  • Interest in Heavy Machinery: Strong interest in heavy machinery and willingness to deep dive into the industry and its processes.
  • Improvement & Proactive Mindset: Improvement-focused, with a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
  • Data & Operations Experience: Background in data analytics, engineering, operations, and/or change management is an advantage.
  • Digital Tools & Technical Curiosity: Familiarity with, or a strong interest in learning, tools such as SAP, Qlik Sense, and SQL.
  • English Communication Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken English.
